I would best describe it as a form of empathy.

I believe it is something we are born with such as a bent for math, or language, but like many talents, most of us never develop it.

"As I open the door, I know without a doubt I am to meet someone inside the building. There is exactly one customer sitting against the far wall, in the corner, trying to be invisible. There is no doubt in my mind I am supposed to request that I be allowed to sit at her table. Not my thoughts, but thoughts that are filling my mind. She and I have something important to talk about. What that will be, I have no idea."

How did you come by all this knowledge? Is there some source?

I read similar article also named akes, famine, genetics, and thinking green | Welcome, ven a gozar!, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me

Thanks for the link. It's really a great video, isn't it? They got everything right in the acting and directing. It's such a problem because of the anonymity. At least bullies in the past had to let people know they were bullies.

Hi Michael - I'm returning your visit -- Gen Patton is one of my husband's heroes along with Chuck Yeager and Joshua Chamberlain. Too often movies make these people larger than life and we forget that they are only fallible humans like the rest of us. Like your blog. Linda

I occasionally think if fast food were an illegal drug, the drug war budget would be doubled.

What started me down the path was remembering a time before there were any chain fast food places, and eating a hamburger from a drive in was a treat, not a lifestyle.

Unfortunately for our country now, we have a third generation living on fast food.
